Harold H. Johnson World War II diary, 1944-1945, 1983.

Typescript copy of the World War II diary of Johnson who served as an MP with the 437th Military Police Escort Guard Company. The diary begins just a few weeks before Johnson is shipped to Rugeley, England and follows him through France and into Germany, Belgium, England, and finally back to the U.S. Following the Front, the 437th MPEG detained and guarded POWs and entries recount the number of POWs detained, the weather, mail, guard duty, meals, and rumors regarding the war. Also included is a photocopy of his obituary from May 15, 1983.
